The Aware Project (www.awareproject.org) hosts a series of monthly Psychedelic Awareness Salon events in Los Angeles and San Diego. We are creating a connected and educated community that feels passionately about balancing the conversation about psychedelics.

TALK TITLE San Pedro/Huachuma, Ayahuasca, and The Plant Medicine Healing Process An evening talk with Ayahuasquero Javier Regueiro

DESCRIPTION In this talk Javier Regueiro will present his two newly published books on San Pedro/Huachuma and Ayahuasca and speak about the plant medicine healing process, its benefits, and challenges. He will devote particular attention to the theme of integration and the issue of safety in plant medicine circles. Drawing from his extensive experience in the plant healing process for both personal healing and learning, Javier will share the knowledge he has gathered through working with hundreds of clients from all over the world over the last 11 years. Copies of both books will be available for purchase and signing.

BIO Javier Regueiro is a plant medicine person based in Peru. He has been conducting his healing work there with Ayahuasca and San Pedro as well as shamanic plant diets since 2006. He is the author of “Ayahuasca: Soul Medicine of the Amazon Jungle” and “San Pedro/Huachuma: Opening the Pathways of the Heart”. www.ayaruna.com

 

TICKETS Pre-sale tickets are $15 and door price is $20. We have a limited number of volunteer positions if you can't afford the ticket price (please email hello@awareproject.org, first come, first serve).

DINNER We will be hosting the Salon at Au Lac DTLA in their Fedora Lounge. Come hungry for their delicious Vietnamese fusion cuisine and thirsty for their organic cocktails, beer, and kombucha! Please note that there is a 2 order minimum per person for us to be able to use this beautiful space.

PARKING Au Lac has its own parking structure with an entrance off 1st St (about $7 with validation). Please leave extra time for traffic it can be kind of crazy around that block…
