Bridging the Experience: Integration, Hypnotherapy, & Psychedelic Cannabis
DESCRIPTION
In this presentation, Carol will discuss hypnosis and hypnotherapy as both an alternative and a complement to the psychedelic experience. Carol will also share about the process of integrating psychedelic experiences appropriately and meaningfully into our lives—integration is everything! She will also present information about the new modality developed by Daniel McQueen of Medicinal Mindfulness; cannabis-assisted therapy and cannabis psychedelic journeys. This novel approach to intentional, ceremonial cannabis use has been demonstrated to be just as deeply powerful and profound as psychedelic medicines such as ayahuasca, DMT, psilocybin, LSD, and MDMA. In addition to the presentation, we will be treated with a sound healing experience that you won't want to miss. Please join us for a powerful, healing-centered evening with a special space-holder from our own local community.
BIOS
Carol is a clinically certified hypnotherapist and professional coach with an education in counseling, psychedelic integration, psychedelic harm reduction, and cannabis psychedelic journeys. Carol’s orientation is grounded in humanistic psychology and metaphysical energy work. In addition to working with people individually, Carol regularly facilitates integration circles for InnerSpace Integration in West Los Angeles (monthly) and North County San Diego (bimonthly). She has completed the Psychedelic Sitter's School Training with Medicinal Mindfulness in Boulder, CO and facilitates private and group psychedelic cannabis journeywork in San Diego County. Carol will share her personal story about how she came into her life's purpose and practice. After the end of long career in radio broadcasting, and in the midst of a big life transition, she made the life changing decision to travel to Peru and regroup. This fateful choice put her on the path to Oaksterdam University, to becoming a psychedelic integration provider, and her life's work in service as a hypnotherapist with her company Optimize Life (www.optimize.life).
