TALK TITLE
Conscious Hacking Through Psychedelics
DESCRIPTION
Ever wonder what makes different psychedelics so different? Learn this as well as how fully customizable psychedelic states can be crafted from psychedelic hacker and molecular alchemist Preston Temple.
BIO
Preston Temple developed a fascination with psychopharmacology after being diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed Ritalin at the age of 3. He has been working for last 4-5 years on developing the next generation of psychedelic therapy drugs. The results so far have been quite remarkable: ‘it is the single greatest substance I’ve ever put in my body’, ‘it was like 10 hours of pure enlightenment’, ‘it has been the most psychedelic, heart opening, slate cleaning experience to-date’. A recent alliance with Dr Thomas Ray has opened up a whole new world of possibilities and a very bright future for psychedelic drug development.
TICKETS
Pre-sale tickets are $15. We have a limited number of volunteer positions if you can't afford the ticket price (please email hello@awareproject.org, first come, first serve).
TEA
Enjoy tea by the I.AM.LIFE Guayusa Tea Lounge. https://www.facebook.com/groups/140526806108760/.
VENUE
Our East Side Venue is no longer hosting events so we are trying out a new space! We are excited that Thymele Arts opened their doors to us. The space is located just off the 101 between Hollywood and Los Feliz. Please enter the building and go up the stairs. Our room will be just down the hall to the left.
PARKING
There are plenty of parking options. There is an underground parking garage at 1110 North Western Ave north of Thymele. Another option is in the strip mall with the Subway and T-Mobile at the intersection of Western and Santa Monica or across the street, behind the bakery with the black metal fencing. Allow extra time because traffic in the area can be a bit intense.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This group is being designed as a secure space. It is not a place to seek, encourage, or participate in the procurement of controlled substances. Do not bring, buy, sell, transfer, or arrive on any illegal substances, or swap information on how to buy them. Members who violate these basic house rules will be removed from the group and will not be allowed to attend future events.
