Healing Power Doc Serie Screening: Normalizing the Conversation around Healing
*Special Screening of Healing Power's episode on Kambo frog medicine and Weed for Warriors*

Time: 7pm-10 pm
Talk and showing starts at 7:30 pm

Place: Rooted Kava Bar in Hillcrest. (Parking should be reasonable, we made sure of this!).

Join filmmaker and psychedelic advocate, Mareesa Stertz, as she takes us on her own personal voyage into the psyche with cannabis, psychedelics, and other mindful practices. By exploring firsthand, the different methods and environments people have been partaking in these substances, she shares the many ways they work to treat depression, addiction, PTSD, and trauma.

By creating an awareness around these tools, and how they address issues so many struggle with, Healing Powers aims to open and normalize the conversation around the processing of emotions and traumas, helping us celebrate the process of digging into our psyche and releasing that which holds us back from living our fullest lives.

Mareesa Stertz is a LA based filmmaker, host, and KRI certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and creator of the documentary series, "The Healing Powers (of Weed, Plants, and Other Mindful Practices). She has spent her entire life on a journey of personal growth and has for the last 5 years, traveled the world to document stories that share how mind-altering practices have the power to shift consciousness and improve lives. She is passionate about informing the public, helping people gain access to healing, and ending this war on drugs.
